Challenges
In the Americas their Gen One outsourcing FM contract lacked mechanisms to drive strategic performance.
In EMEA, while FM service delivery was more mature, a go-to-market approach was needed to adopt the latest strategies and improve performance in the new version contract.
Both projects aimed for global consistency and strategic direction, linked by key performance indicators that provided regional nuances but aligned with global operational goals.
Solutions
- Developed initial strategies with key stakeholders to establish clear and precise service expectations.
- Conducted a full soft market test to understand supply chain capabilities.
- Proceeded with a full RFP, selection, supported contract award, and mobilisation.
Both projects, running in parallel, took two years and resulted in new FM contracts with strategic levers and controls to drive change and performance, leading to significant cost reductions.
