Our Origin

Incendium was founded on a rebellious and independent spirit
that remains to this day.

Our 6 founders had built enviable careers and reputations in their respective fields delivering results in senior positions in the Big 4, top Real Estate consultancies and Fortune 100 businesses.

But in 2014, driven by a goal to disrupt how clients accessed innovative and independent CRE expertise, they quit their jobs and Incendium was born. Their passion for sourcing the best talent and delivering transformational results quickly attracted a diverse pool of like-minded rebels.

Combined with a commitment to working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, the business grew rapidly. Then, on a fateful day in 2018 the founders met the team at Instant, and it became very clear, very quickly they were kindred spirits. Shortly after, Incendium joined The Instant Group and the rest is, as they say, history.

Mike Perkis
Managing Director
Expertise: Strategic Outsourcing & Procurement / Management Consultancy

Mike has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry having worked with PwC Consulting and Boots Properties before setting up his own consulting business in 2002.

Specialising in real estate services, sourcing and procurement, Mike has managed over 70 corporate real estate services procurement programmes.

Mike works closely with corporate occupiers in building business cases and strategies for relocation and consolidation projects, as well as wider real estate strategy and portfolio planning initiatives.

Mike trained and qualified as a chartered surveyor and holds an MBA and a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Management.

Valerie Bonnin
Director
Expertise: Management Consultancy / Strategic Outsourcing and Procurement

Valerie is an experienced CRE management advisor and joined Incendium in September 2016 as a Director.

Previously, Valerie was a real estate consultant for PwC and then a Director within Deloitte’s real estate consulting practice. She brings a wealth of experience across the real estate consulting spectrum and has deep expertise of developing real estate strategies, shaping and

implementing Target Operating Models and advising on all aspects of facilities management, real estate and capital projects procurements.

Valerie specialises in advising both private and public sector clients on the procurement and management of large, complex real estate and facilities management contracts.

Jeremy Brattle
Director
Expertise: Talent Acquisition and Development

A leading specialist executive search consultant, Jeremy has over 15 years’ experience in executive search and consultancy. A co-founder of Brattle Cameron, he moved into the recruitment industry after a successful career with a leading global financial services company.

Jeremy has helped to build one of the most respected executive search brands in the CRE sector with an impressive track record

 

of global delivery and a client base featuring some of the world’s leading businesses.

Skilled at building long-term relationships, Jeremy takes on the role of trusted adviser and is committed to delivering value well beyond a specific resourcing solution.

Jonathan Cameron
Director
Expertise: Talent Acquisition and Development

Jonathan is a chartered surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in Corporate Real Estate (CRE) services in the UK and overseas for companies such as JCI, Trammell Crow and Invensys Plc. He is a co-founder of Brattle Cameron.

He has helped to build one of the most respected executive search brands in the CRE sector with an impressive track record of global delivery and a client base featuring some of the world’s leading businesses.

Jonathan’s experience in the CRE industry and knowledge of the business enables him to quickly interpret client needs and intuitively guide them to the right solutions.

Simon Johnson
Director
Expertise: Management Consultancy / Strategic Outsourcing and Procurement

A founding partner of Incendium, Simon has in-depth experience of delivering complex projects, exceptional client value and fostering trusted relationships.

Recently working with DWP and embedded as part of their Estates Senior Leadership Team, Simon successfully delivered the exit from their PRIME PFI contract. Simon is now providing overall leadership to the HMRC STEPS PFI expiry team across Commercial, Property and Data workstreams.

 

Simon has 20 years’ experience across the full real estate spectrum working with CBRE, DTZ and EY and for many blue-chip global firms and public sector organisations including HSBC, Sage, RSA, Aviva, DEFRA, DWP and HMRC.

Steve Norris
Director
Expertise: Management Consultancy / Strategic Outsourcing and Procurement

Steve has managed worldwide teams and programmes as both a service provider and in-house leader for over 25 years.

Skilled at building strong relationships, solving problems and being a mentor to others, our FTSE 100 clients benefit from his unique independent insight and expertise.

 

Steve has had a truly global career, working across diverse sectors such as banking, technology, pharmaceuticals, retail, energy, services and Formula One and is adept at balancing the application of global standards with governance in local markets.

An experienced and award-winning industry speaker, Steve thrives on problem solving and bringing clear and concise insights to clients.

Sam Pickering
Director
Expertise: Management Consultancy

A high-performance team player, Sam excels in carrying out effective change in dynamic environments that deliver true value.

His career has been extremely diverse, from flying helicopters in the British Army to being Head of Energy and Sustainability at CBRE GCS, Head of Risk Management for Source8, and working for numerous corporates including Unilever and Lloyds Banking Group.

 

This diversity gives him the edge and with a deep understanding of the challenges facing the real estate sector, his ability to facilitate change is testament to his analytical and strategic mindset.

Andy Sergeant
Director

Andy has over 25 years’ experience in the fields of construction, real estate, consulting, outsourcing and technology.

Specialising in the delivery of complex, and often global, change programmes for Fortune 500 and public sector organisations, Andy works across multiple sectors including technology, banking, financial services and government.

 

Projects include value realisation and cost optimisation initiatives; right shoring and complex portfolio strategies; CRE business transformation; IT architecture and systems delivery; process and supply chain re-engineering; and the establishment of PMO and relationship management functions.
